Life support registration
If you are a customer and you or someone living at your premises depends on life support equipment, it is important you notify us as soon as possible (if you have not done so already). You can do this using the contact details provided below.
Life support equipment means any of the following:
• an oxygen concentrator
• An intermittent peritoneal dialysis machine
• A kidney dialysis machine
• A chronic positive airway pressure respirator
• Crigler najjar syndrome phototherapy equipment
• A ventilator for life support
• Any other equipment requiring electricity that a registered medical practitioner certifies is required for a life support resident
Once notified, we will:
• Enter your details into our life support register including the date from which the life support equipment is required;
• Send you a life support pack including a medical confirmation form to be completed by a registered medical practitioner;
• Immediately notify your energy distributor of your life support needs so that they can update their records and registers;
• Provide you with written and verbal confirmation, including the distributor's 24-hour emergency contact number
Cessation of requirement for life support equipment
If you or any other person residing with you no longer have a requirement for life support equipment or you have vacated the premises and moved away, you must notify us as soon as possible. We will then notify the energy distributor who will update their records and registers.
Please contact us using the details below if you or any other person at your premises requires life support equipment, if you have any questions or would like to lodge a complaint.
